#34 Vanessa Minnillo
Maxim Magazine came out with their annual list of the Hot 100 and the usual suspects came in the top 3 including Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Jessica Alba, Jessica Alba, and Scarlett Johansson. *Yawn*
Lucky for you, DaDump combed through all 100 to find the ones you care most about… unfortunately Hillary Clinton didn’t make it this year. The good news is that Lucy Liu also didn’t make the list which makes me think that someone over at Maxim actually did their research this year.
Here are two of the Hot 100… check out the other Asian beauties who made the list after the jump!

How does one measure true success in Hollywood? It’s not the size of your bank account or who you’ve been seen dining with at The Ivy. You know you’re a true star if you’re being featured in People Magazine. Because People cares… Why bring this up? Actress Kim Yun-jin, will give an exclusive interview to People to discuss her comeback to the Korean big screen through the movie “Seven Days,”
Kim’s agency said the magazine requested an interview after the actress’s popularity soared when a section introducing Kim’s preparations for the Golden Globe event was posted early this year on the magazine’s Web site, recording more than 300,000 hits a day.
Kim, 33, will start shooting “Seven Days” in late April where she will be playing a high-powered lawyer.
The new movie tells the story of a cold-blooded lawyer focused only on winning her cases regardless of the truth. But trouble begins when her daughter is kidnapped and will be killed unless she frees a criminal from death row within seven days.
Kim, a South Korean who went to high school and college in the U.S., left her mark on South Korean cinema with “Shiri,” a 1998 movie considered the first South Korean blockbuster, where she played a North Korean spy who falls in love with a South Korean intelligence agent.
“Lost” has made Kim an international star, playing a Korean marooned with her husband and other plane crash survivors on a mysterious tropical island. [Honolulu]

Actress Jun Ji-hyun is gearing up to debut overseas. Jun, who has gained popularity not only in Korea but also in Hong Kong, China and Japan for her sometimes sassy, sometimes naive roles in movies, will make her Hollywood debut in the movie “Blood: The Last Vampire.”
“Blood: The Last Vampire” is based on the same-titled popular animation novel by famous Japanese writer Oshii Mamoru. Jun plays the role of the vampire hunter Saya, who is half-human, half-vampire but who disguises herself as a human being in order to destroy vampires. The actress is expected to display impressive action stunts in the movie.
Interest in movies starring Jun has been on the rise in Hollywood. Jun has drawn notice in Hollywood through the movie “The Lake House,” starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. The movie is a remake of the Korean movie “Il Mare,” which stars Jun. Jun’s hit movie “My Sassy Girl” is also currently being remade in the United States, with actress Elisha Cuthbert playing the lead.
The movie is expected to make Jun another hallyu star in Hollywood, like Kim Yun-jin. Jun will go by the name “Gianna Jun” in the United States. [KBS]

DD is more keen on showing you her latest spread in US Maxim’s March 2007 edition. And if you want to actually read about why Yunjin thinks she’s such a cheap date, her affection for stalkers and how it all relates to her still being single, then keep reading after the jump!

Yunjin Kim
Korean-American Margaret Cho is directing Korean actress Kim Yun-jin of Lost in the recently finished Two Sisters, a tale of sisters who make amends in their relationship by taking belly dancing classes. Kim stars in the film along with Tamlyn Tomita, a Japanese-born American actress.
“I liked the scenario because while it was about girls in the United States, it was a tale of ordinary sisters, not just Asians,” Kim said.
Initially Kim’s tight schedule with Lost made it difficult to accept the offer from Cho, who is a versatile actor, writer, business woman and now a director. But apparently their female bond and Korean roots made the cooperation possible.
“After meeting Margaret, I realized her passion for work and I wanted show that women have this bond as strong as men,'’ Kim said. “I also thought it would mean something for Koreans active in the United States to work together for a film since there are so few.'’
