Upfronts is a TV industry term that basically refers to the little song and dance television studios do for advertisers. It’s when ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and the other networks bring out their most popular stars to wow corporate America and ad agencies as well as to introduce new shows for the upcoming fall season.
Now all you have to do is don a black Prada suit, put on some shades, order a half caff, skim latte poolside at the Roosevelt and you too can be a swanky TV exec.
Here are some pics of Lucy Liu promoting the new Darren Star show Cashmere Mafia and Sandra Oh supporting Grey’s Anatomy. DaDump knows that Sandra is neither an ‘A’ nor a ‘C’ but CBK just didn’t work well with the witty title I was going for.

#34 Vanessa Minnillo
Maxim Magazine came out with their annual list of the Hot 100 and the usual suspects came in the top 3 including Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Jessica Alba, Jessica Alba, and Scarlett Johansson. *Yawn*
Lucky for you, DaDump combed through all 100 to find the ones you care most about… unfortunately Hillary Clinton didn’t make it this year. The good news is that Lucy Liu also didn’t make the list which makes me think that someone over at Maxim actually did their research this year.
Here are two of the Hot 100… check out the other Asian beauties who made the list after the jump!

Here’s your first peek look at the movie poster for Lucy Liu’s upcoming Vamp Chick Flic, Rise.
In Rise, Lucy plays an investigative journalist named Sadie whose encounter with a vicious cult lands her in the morgue… where she wakes up. No longer living and not quite dead, she goes on a hunt for those responsible, which brings her across the path of renegade cop, who is seeking retribution on the same gang of villainous vampires.
Rise was shot in 30 days with a modest seven-figure budget.

Lucy Liu is getting’ her groove back, folks. She’s been working the past few years but in smaller, under the radar roles and films - but not anymore. She’s in full swing on the big screen with Rise, a vampire flic with blood, gore, and lesbian sexual escapades – woo hoo! She’s also leading the pack on the Sex and the City creator’s next small screen venture, Cashmere Mafia.
As seen here, Lucy, aka Freckles, is working Park Avenue in her power red, ultra chic get-up. Not only is this her return to TV but it’s also a return of sorts to her hometown of New Yawk where she grew up. Smart girl. She went to Stuyvesant H.S., the alma mater of DaDump. I could lie and say we dated but the reality is we just did calculus problem sets together. Sadly she went on to have a career in Hollywood and here I am griping about it…Either way good to have you back in the Big Apple, LL!

As reported over the weekend (Click Here for previous posting), Lucy Liu is set to play a lesbian vampire in this summer’s Rise: The Blood Hunter .
In this recently released pic from the film, Lucy has been converted to a vamp-ette who takes a bite out of her first victim - her film career. Sadly, the bite leads to uncontrollable bleeding resulting in a slow and lonely death….
The only cure is to return back to network television in Sex and the City creator Darren Star’s new pilot, Cashmere Mafia. Let’s hope it’s not too late!

Let’s see…. Hot lesbian vampires. Check. Nude sex scene. Check. Actresses whose names we actually know. Check. Gratuitous blood and sharp teeth to boot. Check.
Go shorty, it’s your birthday… As DaDump mentioned to you a few months ago, Lucy “Lewd” Liu is set to star in Rise: The Blood Hunter in which she plays a Vampire Hunter. In this scene, she and Carla Gugino get down and dirty with lots of flesh and blood.
What more need be said? Click here to view the scene. Thanks for the tip, V.ixen… meow!

Lucy Liu is set to star in ABC’s one-hour drama pilot Cashmere Mafia, which revolves around four successful female executives.
Liu, who most recently appeared on ABC’s Ugly Betty, will play one of them. Cashmere, from Darren Star (creator of Sex and the City), marks Liu’s first full-time series gig since Ally McBeal ended in 2002.
Also on board Cashmere Mafia are Frances O’Connor and Miranda Otto.
More shots of the Chinese-American actress as she shoots a scene for the pilot episode after the jump!

Actress Lucy Liu has embraced her maternal side since becoming a godmother, and she’s urging other women to do the same.
The Charlie’s Angels star insists it’s natural for every woman to get broody sometimes, and she admits her biological clock has been set off by spending time with her two-year-old goddaughter.
The 38-year-old says, “I have a goddaughter that I adore who is a two years old, and I would never say no to children. I think it’s important to embrace that side of you. As a woman, whether you have children or not of your own, it’s a natural kind of thing.” [TeenHollywood]
