There will be no more kissing scenes by the Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, famous for locking lips with almost all of his female co-stars, earning him the tag of “serial kisser.” Hashmi, 28, said, “I intend not to kiss” in future films. He shot to fame with the 2004 Hindi film “Murder,” where his passionate kissing scenes with Mallika Sherawat caused a stir among cinema viewers. The success of “Murder” propelled him to act in movies like “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” (You Made Me a Lover) and “Zeher” (Poison) where he smooched with a number of actresses. “I was typecast,” Hashmi said while promoting his latest film, “Awarapan” (Craziness), which deals with human trafficking in Southeast Asia. Some pics of Masi Oka, Sendhil Ramamurthy and some of the other Heroes gang at the NBC Upfronts and later reaping the benefits of stardom by getting lots of free stuff from Lucky brand. Lindsay Price, one of the stars of Lipstick Jungle, posing for the photogs.
So you thought the exposed crotch shot was being monopolized by the Britney, Paris and Lindsay’s of the world? Well in an ever competitive world, these girls now have overseas competition courtesy of Shamita Shetty, the younger sister of the Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
Shamita is an aspiring actress but has not been able to garner the same sort of attention as Big Sis Shilpa…. til now? Intentional, accidental, this will certainly have more people paying attention to Shamita.
Maxim Magazine came out with their annual list of the Hot 100 and the usual suspects came in the top 3 including Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Jessica Alba, Jessica Alba, and Scarlett Johansson. *Yawn*
Lucky for you, DaDump combed through all 100 to find the ones you care most about… unfortunately Hillary Clinton didn’t make it this year. The good news is that Lucy Liu also didn’t make the list which makes me think that someone over at Maxim actually did their research this year.
Here are two of the Hot 100… check out the other Asian beauties who made the list after the jump!
Actor Rahul Khanna is the latest Bollywood star to work with PETA India and in his ad campaign, he’s protesting the condition of elephants in captivity.
An elephant requires almost 200 kgs of food – and more than 150 litres of water – every day, yet many people who own elephants openly admit that they cannot afford to feed the animals this much food. Elephants’ feet are not equipped to walk on tarred roads, yet elephants living in captivity are often forced to spend the entire day – and much of the night – walking on tarred roads. Elephants in cities cause traffic obstructions and pose a threat to the general public. Mahouts* use elephants for begging and have even used elephants to intimidate people in order to get money from them.
*Mahout - person who drives an elephant
Other stars who have signed up to work with PETA include Aishwarya Rai, who’s helping raise awareness about protecting black rhinoceros, and Shilpa Shetty, who is discouraging people from attending circuses. She also has a very interesting photo for her campaign on the PETA India website, by the way. [ecorazzi]
Ever have one of those days when nothing and I mean NOTHING goes right. Hot coffee spills on your pants, the dumplings you ordered for lunch arrive cold, the girl you met at the club doesn’t remember you when you call, and your 60-year old auntie and 14-year old nephew have a better dating record than you…
Well, none of that actually happened but it might as well have. So instead of scouring the ‘net for gossip to make you feel better, I decided to post some videos that will make me feel better. You don’t like it? Take a number and cry me a river.
