There will be no more kissing scenes by the Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, famous for locking lips with almost all of his female co-stars, earning him the tag of “serial kisser.” Hashmi, 28, said, “I intend not to kiss” in future films. He shot to fame with the 2004 Hindi film “Murder,” where his passionate kissing scenes with Mallika Sherawat caused a stir among cinema viewers. The success of “Murder” propelled him to act in movies like “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” (You Made Me a Lover) and “Zeher” (Poison) where he smooched with a number of actresses. “I was typecast,” Hashmi said while promoting his latest film, “Awarapan” (Craziness), which deals with human trafficking in Southeast Asia. Steinbeck, Hemingway, Ayn Rand, JD Salinger, and now…. Bai Ling!
Deciding that she’s conquered the world of acting and realizing that attending every red carpet premiere and photo opportunity in the world will not help resolve the Middle East conflict, Bai Ling has decided to re-focus her efforts and work on a book titled, “My Life as a Crazy Movie Star.”
The publisher, HarperCollins, must have thought she had an extensive library of Chinese language films or something. Hello - Movie star!? Don’t you have to be in a lot of movies to be considered a movie celebrity? An episode on “Lost” and “Entourage” and a small role in “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow” don’t count.
In any event, Ling says the book will focus on “how I see the world.” Should be fascinating. Book your copy now on Amazon… or not.

The most talked about kiss of the year will hit theaters on July 12.
19-year-old actress, Katie Leung, will give Harry Potter his first liplock lesson in ‘Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix’. But she did not want to practice her kiss with Daniel Radcliffe because she wanted the kiss to look as realistic as possible.
‘We didn’t practice beforehand because it’s supposed to be a pretty awkward moment. It is his first kiss, so it’s not perfect. Hopefully when people see it, they will think back to their first kiss’, said Katie.
Leung revealed she was nervous about the kissing scene, which took 30 takes to get it right.
“Daniel was great. I’m sure everyone wants to know if he’s a good kisser and he definitely was. I had so much fun filming it,” she said.
“We were a bit nervous, but I think after the first few takes it was fun and he started thoroughly enjoying ourselves,” she added.
