F4 No More… They’re Now Known as JVKV!

Taking a page out of Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Sean Combs Diddy’s Instruction Manual on how best to re-invent yourself and confuse your fan base, Taiwan boy band F4 have changed their names to JVKV, a combination of the first letters from each member’s English name.
Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Chu and Vanness Wu became popular in Asia in 2001, following the release of the TV series “Meteor Garden,” in which the four young heartthrobs play a group called the Flower Four or F4… get it?
So the Japanese publisher the comic book the drama was based on let them use the moniker… til now. Let’s see how audiences will cope to chanting their name now with two extra syllables. It ain’t easy being a boy band fan these days…

I think the name is silly - not to mentioned a little confusing. Of all names, they couldn’t pick a better one? It sounded like engine series number or something.

well i think that f4 should change their names back to F4 not JVKV because their fans already know them as F4 and f4 sounds way better than jvkv.
so plese will you guys change it back to F4, and im scared if their gonna be unpopular after all because people like the old F4, and i care about my F4!!!!i care about them cause I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!I WILL LOVE THEM FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT !!!!!

Honestly, I also didn’t like their new name…JVKV. But after some thought and being an avid fan of F4 I’m sure we will all get used to it. However, the name F4 will always be the best for Jerry, Vanness, Ken and Vic…Yes it will be hard to adjust to their new name but no matter what name they will use…I’m definitely sure we will always support them and love them…F4ever!!!
