Jackie Chan is a Segway Travelling Salesman

International action star, occasional singer, coffee chain owner, and the Big Kahuna of a cosmetics line, clothing line, restaurants, gyms, charities, even cookies! Well, it’s time to add scooter dealer to that growing list.
That’s right. Jackie Chan is all over the place right now and is well on his way to building a very diversified one-man empire. If he isn’t one of the hardest working people in showbiz then show me someone else who has as many random businesses under his umbrella.
Chan and his business partner Matt McGuire have sold Segway scooters in Asia for about a year and a half but the action star says he’s interested in promoting the technology, not making big bucks.
Still, Chan is a big believer in the product and even shipped the battery-powered scooters to Paris recently when he was in the French capital shooting “Rush Hour 3.”
Yo Jackie, here’s an idea. Start an authentic New York pizzeria, buddy. DaDump would give up his ex-girlfriend’s second to last toe on her left foot for a greasy slice of cheese oozing, artery clogging pizza. That kind of fits in with your business strategy, right?
